October 5, 2026 – October 9, 2026
🍂📚 Fall Break is October 5th thru 9th! 📚🍂
Since Sequatchie County Schools will be out for fall break, we won’t have our regular weekly kids’ programs that week. But don’t worry — we’ve got a couple of special things planned!
🐻🔥 Wednesday, October 7 at 10:00 AM — Smokey Bear!
Come meet Smokey Bear and learn about fire safety and wildfire prevention. This special visit is for all ages, so everyone is welcome to come say hello!
🚒🔥 Friday, October 9 at 10:00 AM — Safety Fair!
We’re bringing some of our local heroes to the library! Kids will get to meet real local firefighters, see a real firetruck, and learn what to do if there’s ever a fire. It’s a great chance for kids to ask questions, get familiar with firefighters, and learn some important safety skills.
🧱 And all week long…
The LEGOs will be out! 🧱🎉
Kids and families are welcome to stop by the library during fall break, grab some LEGOs, build something fun, and spend a little time with us.
So even though our regular kids’ programs are taking a break for the week, there’s still plenty happening at the library! We hope you’ll come see us. ❤️📚
